Pada event Computex 2007 di Taipei yang lalu, terlihat juga UMPC yang telah dilengkapi GPS. UMPC tersebut dijuluki “Ruggedbook”, UMPC semi-rugged ini memiliki dimensi yang cukup ramping dan berbeda dibanding dengan yang lainnya. Adapun untuk chip GPS memang tidak terintegrasi, akan tetapi opsional via slot PCMCIA.
